Namory has arrived in Guinea for his winter visit home. He’s got a busy schedule of leading workshops with drum students from across North America and Europe and he continues to work on his Hamana Arts Center project, building a school for drum and dance education outside of Conakry in Guinea. Please support him as he works to make this dream come true.
Reminders: The final drum and dance classes for 2019 at the Dance Hall are December 19. (No classes on Thursday, December 26.)
Classes will continue every Thursday in 2020, weather dependent. Cancellations will be listed here and our Facebook group in the case of inclement weather.
Drum class will be taught by Ult Mundane through February.
Drop-ins are welcome at drum or dance anytime. If you need to borrow a djembe for drum class, please let us know in advance.
